Mixing & Mastering

A music program for audio engineers, composers and home-recording artists of all levels. Digital music production has become a vital skill to have in the music business.

The course focuses primarily on mixing by explaining its role, methods and evolution from the last four decades to the contemporary concepts of hybrid mixing. Students will face a step-to-step approach on a session, its genre, instruments and parts from the foundation of the rhythm section all the way up to the last touches of automation and vocal riding.

The program puts the emphasis on the idea of a specific "sound" to be shaped as the identity of an artist/band and its record. The approach gives the student some standard, professional methods used every day by audio engineers all over the world while and - the same time - prepares the student's own ability to determine his/her choices and develop a unique identity as a professional audio engineer.
